I consider myself minimal and considered when it comes to fashion, but my husband, James, is constantly looking to express. The fateful Saturday that Hello Chic started, we had a mini argument. We spent hours shopping at 4 different stores and walked out empty-handed every time...

I had enough, and on the drive home, I said - half jokingly - "we should just sell the stuff we want to wear." So we did.

It started small. A few pieces, shared quietly with friends. No big launch, no campaign, and no plan beyond this. Within weeks, strangers were buying. In another month, it had become something neither of us expected - a real store, with a passionate following, built entirely on the idea that good style shouldn't be this hard to find.

That's still what we are. A carefully chosen edit for men and women. Not trend-chasing, not disposable, not trying to be everything to everyone. Just the select few pieces, for people who know what they like and want somewhere that gets it.

We currently ship across Canada. But we're growing. And we're still arguing about what to stock next - which, honestly, is probably why it works.
